Light amethyst with a delicate lavender-violet tone that shifts beautifully depending on the light. This 4.40 carat loose stone is cut in a checkerboard facet pattern sized at 14.5 x 10mm — a style that creates a mosaic of flat-topped facets across the table, giving the stone a distinct texture and sparkle compared to a standard brilliant cut.
The stone is relatively clean with a few minor inclusions visible under magnification. There are also a few small chips along the girdle edge, which is worth noting for setting purposes — a bezel or deep prong set would protect and conceal them cleanly. At 4.40 carats it has solid size and presence, and the light color makes it a versatile candidate for designs where you want subtle color rather than deep saturation.
