Amethyst scepter from Vera Cruz, Mexico with a rare enhydro inclusion, approximately 1 inch, with a custom engraved display base. Tilt this specimen and a bubble of ancient fluid moves inside the crystal. The fluid is genuinely ancient, sealed inside as the crystal formed. The scepter form shows a second generation of crystal growth around the base of the original point. A rider crystal grows along the side. Vera Cruz amethyst has an exceptional pale lilac clarity very different from the darker Brazilian variety most people have seen.
