Wampum clam shell pendant wire wrapped in sterling silver on a 16 inch sterling silver box chain. The clam shells were collected on the Cape May beaches, crushed into shapes, tumbled for weeks to a high polish, and wire wrapped. Wampum from quahog clam shells has genuine cultural and natural history behind the material from Indigenous peoples of the northeastern US.
