A polished black onyx cabochon with a faceted crystal inset set directly into the center of the stone. The crystal sits flush in a stainless steel bezel, creating a clean inset that looks like it came out of a vintage estate setting. The contrast between the deep matte black of the onyx and the sparkle of the crystal is striking — modern in execution but with the same visual weight as antique hardstone jewelry.

The onyx is pre-1974 from the retired jeweler's collection. The faceted crystal is set in a stainless steel bezel, inserted through the existing drill hole in the stone and secured at the back. Ready to be set in a pendant, ring, or brooch. One stone only.
